A Call to Praise the Lord for His Righteousness.

A Psalm.

1 Sing a ^anew song to the Lord,
For He has done ^bwonderful things,
His ^cright hand and His ^dholy arm have ^{▼▼Or accomplished salvation}gained the victory for Him.
2 ^fThe Lord has made His salvation known;
He has ^grevealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.
3 He has ^hremembered His graciousness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;
ⁱAll the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 ^jShout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;
^kBe cheerful and sing for joy and sing praises.
5 Sing praises to the Lord with the ^llyre,
With the lyre and the ^{▼▼Or voice of song (accompanied by music)} ⁿsound of melody.
6 With ^otrumpets and the sound of the horn
^pShout joyfully before ^qthe King, the Lord.

7 May the ^rsea roar and ^{▼▼Lit its fullness}all it contains,
The ^tworld and those who dwell in it.
8 May the ^urivers clap their hands,
May the ^vmountains sing together for joy
9 Before the Lord, for He is coming to ^wjudge the earth;
He will judge the world with righteousness
And ^xthe peoples with fairness.
