what if the number of the righteous is five less than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five people?’

not destroy it

went in at the
gate of his
city,

and he said to Ephron in their hearing, ‘Listen to me, if you will. I will pay the price of the field. Accept it from me so that I can bury my dead there.’

land, “But

hear me: I

‘The
Lord, the God of heaven, who brought me out of my father’s household and my native land and who spoke to me and promised me on oath, saying, “To your offspring I will give this land” – he will send his angel before you so that you can get a wife for my son from there.
