1 Thessalonians 1:6-10

6 And ^ayou became imitators of us ^band of the Lord, for ^cyou received the word in much affliction, ^dwith the ^ejoy of the Holy Spirit, 7 so that you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia. 8 For not only has the word of the Lord ^fsounded forth from you in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in God has gone forth ^geverywhere, so that we need not say anything. 9 For they themselves report concerning us the kind of ^hreception we had among you, and how ⁱyou turned to God ^jfrom idols to serve the living and ^ktrue God, 10 and ^lto wait for his Son ^mfrom heaven, ⁿwhom he raised from the dead, Jesus ^owho delivers us from ^pthe wrath to come.
