‏ Psalms 10:5-11

5 His ways ^asucceed at all times;
Yet Your judgments are on high, ^bout of his sight;
As for all his enemies, he snorts at them.
6 He says to himself, “ ^cI will not be moved;
^{▼▼Lit To}Throughout the generations ^eI will not be in adversity.”
7 His ^fmouth is full of cursing, deceit, and ^goppression;
^hUnder his tongue is harm and injustice.
8 He sits in the ⁱlurking places of the villages;
He ^jkills the innocent in the secret places;
His eyes ^{▼▼Lit lie in wait}surreptitiously watch for the ^{▼▼Or poor} ^munfortunate.
9 He lurks in secret like ⁿa lion in his ^{▼▼Or thicket}lair;
He ^plurks to catch ^qthe needy;
He catches the needy when he pulls him into his ^rnet.
10 Then he crushes the needy one, who cowers;
And ^{▼▼Or unhappy}unfortunate people fall by his mighty power.
11 He ^tsays to himself, “God has forgotten;
He has hidden His face; He will never see it.”
